All event spaces, including the banquet room, tasting room, riverfront ceremony lawn, stone patios, covered porches, and vineyards for the duration of your wedding; as well as private access to the bridal suite and groom’s den in preparation for your day. Our property becomes yours on your big day!

Our classic mahogany ceremony chairs and arbors, mahogany Chivari banquet chairs, round dining tables, cocktail tables, wicker porch furniture, farm table crafted from the property’s reclaimed timber, white china, silver flatware, and glassware are all included, accommodating up to 250 guests.

Led by our seasoned team of culinary professionals and defined by a dedication to honoring our Southern cuisine, each reception menu is handcrafted and seasonally inspired. Receptions may include a seated or station dinner with a preceding cocktail hour reception, a full bar package featuring Upper Shirley wine, and finished off with late-night snacks.

Our Director of Events will work with you to schedule your menu tasting approximately three to five months prior to your wedding.

Complimentary for the bride and groom, we will taste your selected dishes together to create a reception menu that will perfectly match your vision for the wedding celebration.

Providing exemplary service is extremely important to us. A personal attendant is assigned exclusively to the bride and groom pre-ceremony during your preparations, and our Director of Events and Banquet Manager are on-site for the duration of your event. Our staff takes care of you from start to finish and manages all set up and break down as well as attending to you and your guests throughout the day and evening.

Coordination from our Director of Events and Banquet Manager ensures seamless load-in of vendors and event set-up. Upper Shirley requires the use of a third-party wedding planner (whether full, partial, or day-of), selected from our preferred vendor list. All other vendors must have day-of insurance to be on-site.
